Can I use an alias or remain anonymous on my profile?

Yes. MDM can accommodate missionaries who need privacy on their public profile -- particularly those serving in restricted or closed countries where public identification could create safety or security risks.

Options available:

• Alias display name: You can use initials or a non-identifying name on your profile and giving page instead of your full legal name.
• No public profile: You can opt out of having a public-facing profile page on modernday.org entirely. Your giving link will still work for donors who have it directly.
• Minimal profile: A profile page with no photo, limited location information, and a general description of your ministry without identifying details.

Note: Your full legal name is still required internally for your W-9, background check, and financial records. The privacy option applies only to your public-facing profile and giving page. If you are serving in a sensitive context, please indicate this early in the application process so we can accomodate.
