How do I give through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)?

MDM accepts grants from all major Donor Advised Fund providers, including Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, National Christian Foundation, Ren/Commonwealth, and others. When submitting a DAF grant:

  • Search for 'Modern Day Missions' in your DAF provider's charity search.
  • Enter the missionary's full name in the 'Special Purpose' or 'Grant Purpose' field.
  • MDM's EIN is available upon request -- email support@modernday.org.
  • Once a grant is received, MDM will notify you to confirm that the gift has been received. We may reach out to you if the designation of the missionary's name is not clearly identified or present.
  • You can also send a message to support@modernday.org to let us know your donation is coming. Provide your name, the name of the DAF, the amount of the donation and your donor designated missionary preference.

Note: Grants from Fidelity Charitable arrive as encrypted emails requiring a one-time passcode. MDM checks these regularly. If your grant has not been acknowledged within 5 business days of submission, contact support@modernday.org with your grant confirmation number.
