How do I receive my Contribution Statement?

All donations made to Modern Day through DonorGive are tax-deductible under MDM's 501(c)(3) status.

Here is how tax documentation works:

  • Automatic receipts: DonorGive sends a receipt confirmation email for each online donation at the time it is processed.
  • Year-end giving statement: MDM sends annual giving statements to donors by the end of January for the prior tax year. These are sent to the email address on file in your DonorGive account. A unique access link is provided, which expires, so be sure to download your annual giving statement in the time provided. If we only have your address, it will be mailed by the end of January.
  • Check giving: Your cancelled check serves as your receipt. MDM can also provide a written acknowledgment letter upon request.
  • If you need a duplicate or have not received your annual giving statement, email support@modernday.org with your name and applicable tax year.

Note: To ensure your annual giving statement reaches you, make sure your email address is current in your DonorGive account before December 31 each year.
