How do partner organizations or churches work with MDM?

MDM works with churches, missions organizations, discipleship schools, and ministry networks to support the missionaries who serve under them. Here is how the relationship works:

• Spiritual covering role: Your organization's pastor or staff leader serves as the spiritual covering for missionaries who apply to MDM under your covering. MDM will reach out to confirm this relationship for each missionary applicant.
• Point of contact: MDM maintains a named contact at your organization for ongoing coordination. If your organization's contact information changes, please notify us promptly.
• Missionary accountability: As a covering organization, you are confirming ongoing relationship with and accountability over the missionaries under your covering. MDM may occasionally reach out to verify a missionary's active status.
• Group onboarding: If your organization wants to bring on multiple missionaries at once, contact info@modernday.org to discuss a coordinated onboarding process.

Note: MDM does not require organizations to have a formal MOU or partnership agreement to serve as a spiritual covering. The relationship is primarily confirmed on a per-missionary basis through our standard application process.
