Can my spouse and I both be on the same 1099?

A single 1099-NEC cannot list two names, because a Social Security Number can only be tied to one name. When a missionary couple wants income split or reported under both names, MDM issues two separate 1099-NEC forms, one per person, each requiring its own completed W-9.
