What happens after my application is approved? 

Welcome to the MDM family!

Once your application is approved and your profile is set up on modernday.org, our team will reach out to you through a series of emails, taking you through the onboarding journey.

Here is what to expect:

• You will receive a welcome email with introductions to our Finance and Fundraising team members. 
• You will have access to schedule a kick-off call with our Fundraising team.
• You will be asked to submit a completed W-9 form. This is required before any funds can be disbursed to you.
• You will get set up on DonorGive - our payment processing platform - and provide your bank account information for payments, or an alternative payment method if you are based internationally. Once your banking and W-9 are on file, your account is active and raised funds may be disbursed according to the MDM payments schedules.

Note: Your monthly budget limit is set during onboarding based on your role and ministry context. If you are part-time (approximately 30 hours/week or less), your cap may be lower. Learn more about monthly budgets by visiting our FAQ page.
