What is MDM's fee structure?

MDM charges a 6% administrative fee on donations processed through the platform. Here is how the fee structure works:

  • Administrative fee: MDM retains 6% of each donation processed as an administrative fee to cover platform, compliance, and operational costs
  • Application fee: A one-time $60 application fee is required for new missionaries. This may be waived in certain partnership contexts
  • MDM passes along the online processing fees for credit card donations. Depending on what method the donor selects, these range between 1.2% for e-checks and 3.7% for credit cards
  • Background check: No fee to the missionary
